Just a suggestion here everyone, but just north of Bear Mountain Park, take a detour off Rt. 9W and get on 218 North. This is also know as Storm King Highway and has some of the nasties twisties I know of in the local area.

There is also a large parking area right before the twisties on the right side that is perfect for gathering all the stragglers before moving on.

218 North will eventually merge back into 9W after about 10 miles. You won't lose much time and it may actually be shorter since 9W does a bit of a loop in that section.

Have fun everyone and be safe! Can't wait to see the picts.

    -Pete

Peter- totally on that one. I make that run frequently, and before you get to the twisties behind west point, going up to Bannerman's Island outlook, and eventually into Cornwall on Hudson, you get 2 or 3 straights with mile long visibility. I ran the Lambo up there a couple weeks ago, and take the bikes up there all the time.

Hmm, I think I know this stretch as well... awesome twisties, but absolute hell if you get stuck behind grandma. Dont get me wrong, I say we add this to the itinerary... if thats OK with Jon of course.

We'll just get Lupe to shut down the road with the strobes on his 355 and gun holster popin' outta his jacket. ;-)

    I have a request, non-run related :

I have a package full of stickers that's lying at Ferrari Long Island service, would it be possible for any of you LI-ers to pick it up for me and I could grab it from you on Sunday?

Much appreciated and thanks in advance

It's open to anyone who would like to join from the EC regardless of what you drive (just no talons). It'll be great to have you along for the drive...

    See you Sunday.

Eric, you got me. I will be there as long as the weather holds up. After all I also have to see Whart's new Diablo. I have wanted to see that thing for ages.

    Hey Eric:

Are you meeting at Utkarsh's as usual? I can not get in contact with him. Did he change his number again?

Wasn't planning on it, but may not be a bad idea since it's a good central place to meet up. Shoot him a PM and see what he has to say...I'm sure he'll get back to you ASAP.
