Anybody know the general price range of a BMW 507?
seems in the early 1990s or maybe the late 1980s they were trading at around ~150, hard to find any thing recent. Nothing wrong with looking ,<kicks at the dirt and spits>
the 507 is a gorgeous vehicle. i'm surprised they trade that low given there are only about 250 of them. good hunting - keep us posted. doody. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Buy a 190sl and stick a big motor in it. On the cheap. Paint it red. Learn some profanities in the German language. Hang out with hot young blondes wearing pig tails named Heidi. You'll never look back....
Helped a buddy do this in college. Dropped a hot 302/top loader 4sp into a solid 190. With very few other mods it made one heck of a driver. Soon thereafter, 190 prices took a huge leap and I'm certain someone has returned it to it's slow stock self by now... Bill
Maybe its me, I just don't understand. Your kids are doing well, you have their future $ aside. I don't really see it, then again I don't live your life everyday. I say you only live once, and even cheap SOBs (as you refer to yourself) need to have fun. When we die and mix in with the Carolina soil, the memories and good times are all you will have. Last time I checked, they didn't allow for lots of $$/toys in the grave. GIving enough to your kids, and having some play $$ for yourself, I would think would be a way to do it. Then again, your life, and you make the last decision. Good luck with whatever you choose
