Good morning, Did anybody try to replace at least the moving parts (doors, bootlid) in a steel 308 (with glass or other composite repros) for rust avoidance and/or weight saving?
yes, have done the door skins with glass...it is a bit of work (fitting)but it does permanently cure the rust issue and is virtually undetectable. I have an extra set of skins if you are interested. regards, Paul
