    what is it you need 2+2 for? kids? little weiner kids or teens? mates? picking up 3 chicks at once... :D

    only one i have experience with is the GT4, albeit only briefly from a wanna-be buyers perspective. i'm a massive Bertone fan so the styling is great to me, car sounds fantastic, has authentic 70's Ferrari feel to it and goes great for it's time. i never sat in the back, but there looked like enough room for smaller kids, or plenty of room for shopping and such.

    i personally aren't really interested in the 2+2 concept, it's just a compromise, but i love the GT4 anyhoo.

    Having owned a couple of 330s, and Queen Mother, 308GT4, and having friends with 250s 2+s and a 400i Automatic- never had or heard of a negative situation. All of the cars were driven to high mileage. Great reliable and fun cars- just not sure how parts accessibility is on the older ones. Just compare your budget and what you like in terms of looks... and go for it. They all have their uniqueness. I owned 2+2 when many F owners didn't consider them real F cars. It didn't matter because I could keep up with them at track events. I would have loved to have some bags of groceries strapped in the back seats while on the track. Have had people though many times in the cars either on the track on the winding roads.

    the ultimate love fest, 2+2 is incorrect, there is more room in the gt4 than the new cls benz and the benz is no f car

    For two years I have owned and driven a 2003 456M GT.
    This is my first Ferrari, having owned and driven Porsches
    for several years, including the new 911 Turbo.
    Without a doubt the 456M is the most superb vehicle
    I have driven. It is an elegantly stated Ferrari with
    tremendous performance capabilities. Under warranty
    I replaced the original battery, which was inferior.
    In spite of this matter it has had no other problems. I have
    averaged about 3,200 miles during each of the first two
    years of ownership and don't expect to reach 15,000 miles
    for another three years.
    My 456M GT is my every-day car, but since I have a home office
    there are no commuting miles.
    In addition to being "breath-takingly beautiful" (a quote from Forza)
    it can accomodate a tall driver (I am 6-3 in height).
    I will own and drive this car for many years in the future and highly
    recommend the 456M. Tres magnifique!!

    I have had my 456 GT for 2 months now, and I love it. As far as maintenence cost, I did the fluid service myself, and the belt service cost $2500. Not too bad!

    I owned a 400GT 5 speed and it was a great car. It was Al Garthwaite of Algar Ferrari former daily driver. It was comfortable and reliable; I drove it for 20k+ miles in 3 years and it never let me down....oil changes is all I had to do.

    If you ever sit in one you will realize that this replacment for the 365 GTC (not the 365 GT 2+2, which was replaced by the 365 GT4 2+2) it is not a true 2+2 and that the rear "seats" are useless as anything other than a parcel shelf.

    What a surprise, I'd vote for the 456M.... Had it 5 years now and it's been fantastic. This is the longest I've ever kept a car actually. I love it, gets the endorphins flooding every time. My kids have grown up with it, and in it, and it still works (they're now 6 & 9). We've ditched the child seats and boosters. The kids really like the fact that you can take them, and their friends too. You can get a surprising amount of stuff in it too. Certainly enough for 2-3 days away, travel cots the lot, and longer now they're older and we don't need all the baby crap

    It's funny you know, but for some reason people think these things are going to be slow. Ha! Pity da fool. It's a lot faster than it feels too. The engine is quite lazy, but you're putting on speed like hell. Handles remarkably well too. There's more than one V8 owner surprised as hell when he's been outdone by a 'sedate GT' through the twisties.

    YEAH BABY! Although I would qualify this for us vintage lovers, who would probably prefer the 250GTE and 330GT. But he wants a *daily* driver doesn't he? 456 all da' way!
