    Bugatti Veyron (Volkswagen group), whose prototypes are currently manufactured in Dorlisheim close to Strasbourg, recently made a success of a test of homologation by exceeding the 400 km/h. The test took place with the measurements "repeated" on the ground of test of Volkswagen with Ehra-Lessien, close to Hanover, and was approved by the "TUV", the technical authority supervising of Germany.

    Bugatti had announced last November to have already received about fifty orders for its future Veyron. The first models must be delivered to the second half of 2005, with (rich person) customers who spent each one 300.000 euros of installment. Each racing car will be invoiced on the whole a million euros HT. The racing car, which must accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in three seconds, will be produced on order, at a rate of about fifty specimens per annum, in the workshops of Dorlisheim, with the endoit-même where the mythical Bugatti mark was established in first half of the XXe century

    So finally they achieved their goal and reached the 400Km/h barrier :)
    That should make the Veyron the fastest sportscar built in series, in the World, and beating the former World record of the Koenigsegg (388 km/h)!!!
    Great news for the revived Bugatti company! :)
