Agree. No atmosphere but really good food with large servings and very good prices. I go there whenever I am in Houston.
My favorite in Houston has to be America's on Post Oak - South American. Lupe Tortilla for the best fajitas. Ruchi's for cheap Mexican. Rotisserie for Beef & Bird for very cool wild game / not your ordinary meal. Brennan's for steak and bananas foster (bring a jacket). Ruggle's for anything. Damian's for Italian. There used to be a great little Croatian place near Hillcroft and Richmond, but not sure if it is still there. My memory is a little rusty from my time living in Houston...
