I have an '01 360 F1 which I bought from Algar a year ago. It has 6,700 trouble free miles on it and I am a maintenance freak. I check my tire pressure weekly when I drive the car. I have noticed that I must add air every other week. All four tires lose around 5-6 psi. uniformly. Algar cannot give me a reason for this. Most of my driving is done by carefully allowing the car to warm for about six miles or so and then going out on the highway and doing about 30 miles at speeds between 80-140 mph. I then drive another six miles or so for cooling off and put the car to bed. Any ideas?

It's odd that all 4 tires need 5 - 6 lb of air... do you remember if you measure the pressure when tires are cold? If not depending on the type of driving the pressure in each tire will be significantly different when hot vs. cold.
The other issue maybe if you happen to have modulars?

Do you have those valve stemp caps that show your tire pressure, or turn red when pressure is low, anything like that? They are notorious for leaking.

Perhaps they are a bad set of tires! They all have a high area and a low volume, so there is lots of rubber wall for the air to slowly slip through. On my 360 there is one tire that leaks the same amount (three piece rim however), a rear. I put it down to low volume production techniques, sort of like a racing tire, and they all leak like mad.

Do the fronts seem to lose the same as the rears or a little less? The volume of the rear tires is about 30 percent greater than the fronts.
