It was a great circuit but the museum is now closed. The restaurant bend and following 'S' shaped complex must have been great in a Caterham. I asked the organisers and the rental for a day is in the region of Eur 5,500 per day. There are 16 rooms which go for Eur 80 per night. We had 66 cars there that weekend. With those sort of figures it seems feasable to do an Fchat track day there. For garage queens (no offence meant) the trailer transportation comes in at around £500 per car if you get in excess of 5 otherwise it is a 1,200 round trip.
Would you allow a pesky 7 on track? I could be tempted to get the 7 transported down (drove it there and back on previous visits), drive the 355 down but use the 7 on track... Could give you a go in a 7 round the track The whole circuit was good. The back straight was one of the best bits. As you come into the building complex you can really keep some speed through it if you set the car up right and keep your nerve. First time I came through the trees I had complete memory loss at the "chicane" onto the straight and ended up doing aa bit of grass cutting. Fun though. Shame he's closed the museum. Lovely cars, including a lovely 250 GT SWB.
I have to admit it took me most of the first day to try and find a braking point for that corner - kept overbraking over the side of the hill and having that same feeling of being at the top of the rollercoaster - i.e. "Oh ****, he we goooooo..............." I have no problems with a 7 - wit a price of Eur 5,500 it doesn't seem to unreasonable to have a Fchat track weekend there. Even with transporter costs it works out the same as a UK track weekend.

2 others didn't make the photo! Nizza is working on getting a video hosted (possibly via JohnnyS). Then people can make up their own mind as to whether a Fchat track weekend should be organised.
More pics at http://communitywebshots.com/user/nick360james With a few carefully aimed kicks at his gonads we should get Nizza focused on organising the hosting of vids as well.
Many thanks Mr G..... Some of us have jobs to do to pay for the our toys..... lol ;-) Again thanks to ChalStrad for great weekend. Anyway..... the link has been updated with more photos and now also includes pictures from last years Ferrari Track Day/Festival at Magny Cours. Regards Nizza
