I wonder what the track steward will say if you show up like that to the next track event :)
That would be worth the open mouth you will stare into :)

Every Ferrariowner should put the rack on. The chances of it breaking down along the way are just to big not to have your bike with you at all times.

Apparently not near what you know about making F40's go even faster. That thing is nuts. I didn't feel comfortable putting my foot down all the way in any gear lower than 4th. Nice work.

    J,
Dan and I are comitted to getting a group discount on the F40 purchases so you'll definitely know when it happens. This one belongs to a good friend/business colleague on an old project. Brian put some new turbos and some other doodads on and it's a screamer. Dan and I went out for an enjoyable spin in it that managed to be great fun despite the pouring rain that started falling about halfway through the drive. Fear is driving a beast like that in the rain.

I was able to take it out the next day in the dry to do some errands. Here's a sample of how the the conversation with Dan on the cell phone went:

    Dan: Hello.
Me: (F40 exhaust screaming in the background) Hear that? Know what that is?
    Dan: (long pause) You suck.
Me: Nope. And not only that but I'm in the F40.

bobafett: the rack on the 550 is the very definition of cool, every good bike riding day is also a good Ferrari driving day, so why not have the best of both worlds? Glad to see you getting the most out of all your toys, enjoy life!

I love it. Nothing like seeing bikes on the roof and lumber in the trunk of a Ferrari.

These sort of threads reassures me that when I get a Ferrari I can use it as a daily driver.

James: bike, snowboard, luggage, whatever you want. I haven't used it for more than the bikes... I want to put a go-kart up there, but i dont think it'd work so well.
