    Hey all, I just removed the vacuum booster and mastercylinder unit out of my 1978 308. Does anyone have any recomendations for whom I might send it to for a rebuild. I live on the west coast (USA), if that matters.

    Southern California, $60 for the MC and $175 for the booster. Send him a seal kit and he'll put it all together.

    i like to know what goes bad on booster, is there a rebuilt kit for the booster and were to get one. the rebuilt kit for the master from superformanse in stock that i know i got one from them.

    Typically the seals go bad on the booster and it no longer holds a vaccum.

    Rebuilding one means taking the whole thing apart (some special equipment required) getting / making a new diaphragm, putting in 2 new seals (front and back), and repainting.

    I try to do manythings on the car, but this one I have to leave to the experts.

    That MC price is exceptionally great! I am wondering if they offer a lifetime warranty on their work? Whitepost overcharged me, but thankfully, I only had the MC done.
