    Why wait for a 1/18th, the 1/43 will always be far superior in terms of quality and detail.... honestly.... these are masterpieces....

    ...just look at the way a top level hand builts doors open- they dont "hang out" from the door openings like most models- rather they are hinged just like a real car... absolutely awesome. One question Mike, does the engine bay and bonnet close as well?

    Hi, sorry for the late reply. To answer Harold's question, yes the engine bay lid closes so tight you would never know it opens by looking at the seam. The engine cover is actually a very thin piece of photoetch and must be carefully opened using a wooden toothpick by inserting it in the center and lifting slowly so that the lid does not torque in either direction as the hinges are very delicate. The model includes the toothpick, what would you expect for $650? :)
