Now that the 355 is two models old, will it be bumped to classic?

    So, the 355 was released 10 years ago. There have been two models since.

    Approaching classic status?

    I don't think it's a classic just yet, in terms of years that is. The last 348's were built in '94. The last 355's were built in '99. So they still have four years, in my book, before they get the classic title.

    True about the chronology. The 355 was also the model to spark the wave of Ferrari's future: the F1 transmission.

    However, the styling is definitely of an older generation. It does not have the rounded shape of the modern cars.

    In my opinion, the 355 has developed all the charm of a classic.

    modern as i have a 360 and a 355 and the 355 is still in a form of its own class for so many reasons to elaborate

    That's both older and newer than the 355...

    hehe.

    I'd say modern, but the way performance is going up these days, classic. It wasn't that long ago when only the 308/328 where considered "classic".
