i sent that guy a PM and he never responded...should i follow up incase he accidently deleted it or should i just back off?
Garrett... i know the serial number of the yellow Enzo that just went to Alberta... Do you know anything about a red Enzo, black interior, California plates: QLF 1... It's got a Ferrari Orange County license plate frame... Let me know...
does anybody know what the plate for this says? i can tell that the last 2 letters are ZZ but i cant decipher the rest. http://img203.echo.cx/my.php?image=42ke.jpg
1st letter is either a J or an I 2nd is either a 5 or an S 3rd appears to be a 4 4th seems to be a V or Y Those are my "translations" PM the user salegosse (i think thats how you spell it). I think he will be able to confirm the plates.
I think this is the same enzo. http://www.f1racing.nl/nl/photolarge.php?photoID=44628&catID=1103-1523 As far as i can see the license plate is : P054YZX
Wild guess of me ... If it's an "older" UK plate we have to find something like ANNN AAA, "A" being a letter and "N" being a number. I would go for J576 VZZ (UK), but the third and fifth are the thoughest to read. So don't shoot me if I'm wrong. The picture seems to be taken at the Harbour of Monte Carlo so Sallegosse is most probably the maker of it. Unfortunately even on his website he's covering all the licenseplates I have a lot of pics now from Enzo's that I don't get thrilled anymore of yet another pic from an Enzo with blurred plates. This message is to everybody : Please leave the pictures in original state !! You don't harm the owner by putting a picture on the net with a numberplated car, only enthusiasts are visiting car-sites and they are interested and most of them are mature enough to respect the privacy of the owner. I don't think privacy of the owner in disrespected by showing a picture of his car, because coming out with a sportscar does automatically means that you unwillingly attracks the attention of all car-loving people all over the world. Greetz, Eddy Pareit
I hope you're kidding. How can you say that enthusiasts are the ony ones on these exotic car sites?? And how can you say that everyone is "mature enough"?? Internet sites are KNOWN for having immature idiots and con artists.
Bill, I didn't mean to upset you or anybody. Maybe I'm looking at the subject in the wrong way. Let's rephrase it : I "supposed" that all visitors on websites of exotic cars were enthusiasts and didn't have any other thoughts in mind. Maybe I see it that way because I don't want anything more that SEEING the cars. I never spoke of "everyone" but of "most of them". I think we are on the same gulflength but that I confused you in my english writing. English is NOT the first language here in Belgium, we have Dutch and French in the first place. Maybe the next time I have to pick my words better or the next time it's wiser to shut up since I'm having the risk to be misunderstood. If anybody feels hurt by my first mail, SORRY, I didn't mean to !!!!! Greetz, Eddy
Eddy, I completely agree with your view. maybe you and i assume that everyone is like us, because i know too that I want nothing more than the sight and info of the car, and i just use plates to determine which Enzo is which. personally i think that the argument of trying to find the license plate is an invasion of privacy and whatever because the people drive the cars. when they drive their cars, thousands of people every day see the license plates. so for a couple other people to see the licesne plates, people in a different country, is no more of a threat than just driving the car. btw, thanks all for the attempted translations. i keep trying but i cant figure it out.
Standard french plates are almost always (few exceptions) of the format: 00(0) XX(X) 00, where 0 is a number from 0 to 9 and X is a letter. Whereas the first 2 blocks do not indicate anything, the last block indicates the "departement" (corresponds to states in US) in alphabetical order (with few exceptions) ex: 01=Ain 02=Aisne 03=Allier, etc... But 73=Savoie and 74=Haute-Savoie. Even if Haute-Savoie begins with an H, this is grouped with his neighbor departement of Savoie. The case of Paris region is special too: 75 = Paris, but 76-78 and 91-95 are also from the same region. The latest have a high number, probably because the region was splitted in several parts after the numerical system was set up and therefore new departments were attributed highest numbers.
does anybody knows howmany of these colors are on a NNO??: - giallo Modena - rosso corsa - nero - blu TdF - bianco - argento Nürburgring - rosso Dino - grigio titanio - grigio alloy I know that there are 1 bianco and 1 grigio alloy of the 399 NNO's but not off the rest. sorry if my english is not that good
Patrick... Don't worry about your English; that's what makes this board so great... You don't have to worry about how well you speak the language in order to share your passion... Hell, i don't speak English that well and it's the ONLY language i know...! So far as i know, there's only one TdF Enzo; 128788, CH... There's only one Pozzi Enzo, as well; 134959, NY, USA... There are a few Argento Nurburgring and a few Grigio Titanio - i'll try to come up with the exact number... Also, there are only a handful of Enzos that are Rosso Dino and Rosso Scuderia, too... The bulk of the Enzos are red (Rosso Corsa), yellow (Giallo Modena) and black (Nero), in that order... Just remember though, no one has accounted for all 400...
giallo modena/rosso corsa/nero- a lot, since those are the 3 main colors blue pozzi/ blue tdf- one of each as far as i know argento- ive heard there are 7 bianco-as far as i know only 1, ive heard rumors of a second rosso dino- i only know of 2 (but i know of 5 rosso scuderias, pretty close) grigio titanio- 3 so far grigio aqlloy- 1 also theres lindsay fox's red Enzo with a yellow roof
