    Very good question about the check engine light, and something you just reminded me to check w/ the dealer tomorrow... I've noticed a couple times that when I start up the car the check engine light is on; once the car is put into gear, the check engine light turns off. I'm not sure if this happens everytime (and the car isn't at my house right now to check). I didn't really think much of it, figured that by putting the car into gear that triggered the system to release the check engine light, but I'll check with service to make sure -- how much is a new engine on these anyhow ) LOL...
