First off, my posts concerning Lamborghini as a company are just my opinion, just as some Lambo owners post their opinons on Ferrari, it doesn't make them right or wrong. What did happen on the track with the Lambos was a fact which has caused much debate, it turned into a challenge of my qualifications which as I said are irrelevant, you only needed to view what happened, much like when lawyers debate, you first pound the evidence, if that doesn't work then the parties involved and if nothings left pound the table. Concerning focusing on legitimate arguements I am for that. I'll just ignore the 2 posters from now on and let them babble on all they want that started the low path with me.
You were the one who said you would be faster around the track in the 360. So, I called you out. Put up, or shut up. You said it would be "easy money", isn't that right? Wroooooooong. I like Ferrari's. I like Lambo's. I like Porsches. I like Vettes. What I dislike is when some knowitall biatch like yourself spouts BS on here, and has the gall to try and back it up with further mountains of BS. No, in fact, I would like you stay. You entertain me, like a monkey at the circus. The only thing that "bothers" me in this thread is YOU. I hardly care what your opinion of Lambo is, or any other car for that matter. This, coming from a guy who probably drives a 1987 Honda Civic...who is lecturing us on the finer points of exotic cars...who makes idiotic observations like "the exotic car market is hot right now"...who makes blind claims that X car can beat Y car around the track, even though I have owned X & Y car and have experienced them both on the track...I could go on, and on, and on, and on. Therein lies my problem. It's with YOU.
I apologize to the rest of the posters on this thread for having to read this crap. Some days, I really take exception to some of the nonsense claims that people like Blowfield can make. I thoroughly enjoy hearing the input of all posters, even those who aren't owners, or maybe lack the experience of some of our members. However, I have little tolerance for the Blowfield's of the world.
There was a "time" when Clax hated Lamborghinis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully for all of us, he has seen the light. He is another "honored" convert. Tom, Will, Dave, and Clax etc..... All of Allan's honored step-children. LOL.
I think this is common. Before my first lamborghini, i thought they were garbage: unreliable, expensive, built from a company that doesnt even race, etc etc. I'd like to hear from one person who has put more than 50 miles on a lambo and still hates the car.
For me: I'd like to hear from one person who has put more than 50 miles on a lambo and still likes his/her Ferrari more!! (If traded wishes for the Ferrari back) There is nothing like Lamborghini V-12 with Tubi.
Here is a dealers sign I found on E-Bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7157459910&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
That's the best you can do? What's the matter, too many lap dogs on your site and not enough sparring partners?
LOL ! A 355 owner calling out a lambo ! cubbyman , with the 355 putting down 270rwhp/225rwtq and about 3300 lbs itself , how in the world are you holding ALL of that power in the road ? I wish i could catch you out on the road in my wifes Tahoe. LOL .... Go back under your rock now.
Come on Mr. Blowfeild, take Clax's challange and prove them all wrong. That is why he challenged you to meet face to face in real life. At least then you can validate both your arguments on an actual track and show him that what you have calmed over and over again is correct. If you are right, as you claim you are, then that is an instant 22,000 bucks, plus you get to drive a 360 around a track - not exactly a waste of time and effort, I'd say. I'm sure with the proper legal arrangements you can make this bet legally binding thus assuring that 22,000 in your pocket since you are so convinced that you are correct. The above reply itself is a form of self-validation.
Read, educate, inspect in person and above all drive a Gallardo, then comment. I don't own one, but have read about the car (many magazines) and have driven one for an hour (all types of speed) and WAS inpressed. Back to the thread topic, I agree with the car being under appreciated. It is my belief mostly by those who have not seen or driven one.
I'd say the gallardo is an all time favorite of many sports car enthusiasts. Stunning car! Great performer. JMO
Size was the only drawback for me at the time. The 360 was more spacious. I'm glad I waited for the Murcie.
