My friend wants get his 360 to understeer less, is there a way of dialing it out on the suspension adjustment? The degrees of alteration would be usefull, as we have a friendly ferrari tech who will do it on a saturday afternoon as long as we tell him more than the workshop manual tells him!

Proper use of the gas pedal on turn-ins or outs can instantly turn the car from an understeer to oversteer situation, without suspension mods.
    IMHO,
A little advanced driving class would help more than suspension changes at this point.

    Hi........

Before any major changes in the suspension set-up, make sure that the vehicle possesses the proper factory alignments in the first place.

Easy method: adjust tire pressures. Higher pressure at the front end will reduce sidewall flex and increase "turn-in" rate = less understeer.

Do not over-inflate the tires, as over-inflation will reduce the contact patch. Talk to people who race these cars or use them for open-track events; get recommendations from people with experience "at speed".

I TRACK MY 360 AND HAVE RACED IN A 360 CS AND CHALLENGE CAR AND AM NOT AWARE OF ANY BIG UNDERSTEER ISSUES WITH THE CAR. sOUNDS LIKE HE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM IN DRIVING STYLE OR CAR SETUP.

TO HELP EVALUATE THE PROBLEM--TRY TO DETERMINE WHERE THE UNDERSTEER EXISTS.

IS IT AT LOW SPEED, MEDIUM SPEED, HIGH SPEED?

IS IT A CORNER ENTRY ISSUE UNDER BRAKING? DOES IT OCCUR AT THE ENTRY APEX INTO THE INNER APEX WHILE TRAILING OFF THE BRAKE? OR IS MORE A CORNER INNER APEX TO EXIT APEX POWER ON UNDERSTEER? I DOUBT IT IS A CORNER EXIT TO STRAIGHT LINE POWER DOWN UNDERSTEER.

IF YOU CAN NAIL IT DOWN A BIT MORE THEN A BETTER SOLUTION CAN BE OFFERED.
