IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE: F40 OR McLaren F1

F40, even though the F1 is much faster I'd be happier with an F40.

F1 is faster, better handling, worth 4 (I think) times the money. No brainer, this one.

 

F40 is for person with only one friend Mclaren is for person with two friends but i have no friends so a single seater please for me

 

McLaren F1 would be my pick.

Closer choice should be the Enzo in place of the F40. Between the Enzo and the McLaren, I'd still choose the F1.

Two options for me: One is I'd take the F1 and sell it and buy me the F-40 of my dreams and have a lot of cash left over. Second option: If I had to pick which car to keep and be happy with....I'd still pick the F-40. Call me sentimental....but I've been bitten by the Italian bug, not the German/English bug. I want an emotional car created out of a passion for living, not a cold, calculated, surgically created car that while it is an awesome performer, lacks soul. Okay......you can start flaming me now......

 

with F1 you can take two girlfriends to the spa!

 

When did you get to drive the F1?

 

i love the mclaren f1...but, id choose the VEYRON over it. look wise, aesthetics, performance...etc.

but if i HAD TO choose, most def. the Mclaren!

 

F40...I like Ferraris. The F1 does nothing for me. For me, it's an expensive sports car, that's it. I am passionate about Ferrari. I would take all Ferraris from the inception of Ferrari to the 60s over the F1 for the same reason...in fact, I would take all Ferraris over the F1. I would love to have a pristine 308GT4 over the F1. Is the F1 a faster car? Yes. Is is a supercar? I guess so...but it's not a Ferrari.

If the question is which is worth more? Than Probably the F1 (right?). If the question is which would you take for free if given that option? The F40. Actually, it doesn't matter what the question is or intended to be...for me it's the Ferrari (any Ferrari) over any other car.

For me, having the fastest car means nothing...I would have kept my 89 Mustang GT instead of getting an older, slower Ferrari 308 if speed was important to me.

Just my opinion.

F40, it's the ultimate supercar. It's a V8, and much greater looking than the F1. The F1 doesn't look like anything in particular, it blends in compared to an F40. The F40 is the greatest car ever build.
