It said the service was done in 02-03 and can be verified. As long as i verified with the dealership....I would take their word for it....would you or would you get it done anyway?

Well, like a fellow told me once, talk is cheap. If a mechanic isn't willing and able to look through his records and determine what was done and when, then yes, I would suspect that most buyers would go ahead and pay for another 30K service. I can't tell you how many times, when I was looking for a 348, that the seller said "oh yeah...I had the 30K done..." blah, blah, blah. Then when I would ask for receipts, they would say "Let me get back to you on that", or "I lost them", or I would get a receipt from some "Cousin Eddy" garage that isn't even listed in the phone book.

People generally don't just "lose" receipts for $5K or more worth of work on anything, much less a Ferrari. And mechanics should generally be able to scurry up at least SOME documents pertaining to the service in such a highly unlikely event.

Don't get me wrong - I am not questioning Martin one bit - he is just going off of what someone said, as he states in the ad. However, talk is cheap.

    Significantly...

Same for the 360 slide because of the 20k or about 430 that will be made...

    I'd take a 308/328 over an MR2 anyday!
