Can anyone give me some advice as to the most competitive place to insure a 308? I guess it qualifies for classic insurance?....

Footman James. My 208 GT4 costs £350 a year fully comp. There's no no claims system, but you have to have another car as your main car, and it's limited to 6k a year.

AON are another good one to try. No mileage limit on my 328 since it got over 10 yrs old. Again, a "second car" type policy though.

I use Norton Heritage and I pay £350 for 3000 miles on an 85 308GTB QV. That should drop this year as the car is 20 years old.

Thanks for the help - I've ended up insuring it through RH Specialist Car Insurance - £330 for 5,000 miles with European breakdown cover, legal protection all included. These guys feature on the FOC site...

All the other usual suspects wanted nigh on £550....
