since i dont have adobe, could someone keep a watch on the auction and let us know who and/or where it got sold to?
I am sorry to say that there are alot of cars in there more interesting than that. I wished they did something special to the car, like a modified engine or paint color.
i was wishing that they would've kept from painting it altogether...! Just let the bare, naked carbon fiber weave show... It would be brilliant and since no other Enzo is like that, that would truly set it apart from all the other ones, thus raising a higher bid total... No one ever listens to me...
You sure it's that and not 159050? So the 400th according to your serial number was built before the one NNO wants (142XXX)?
It will still take 3 to 4 years before Ferrari will reach s/n 159050. The plate you see on the pic with 59050 on it is the assembly number, not the serial number.
Is the statement in the PDF where it says this is the Ferrari presented to the previous pope true? I thought he was presented with an F1 car, and before the time the 400th Enzo could have been "produced". When does this auction take place?
As far as i know, the catalogue is incorrect... i, like you, recall the Pope being presented with an F1 car... As always, Lars is right... 15XXXX won't be a valid serial number for years... Also, Garrett is right on the money - 134282 is STILL my favorite Ferrari of all time... It has to be...! Otherwise, i'd have to change my email address...!
Any estimates on what people think it'll go for?? Its for charity, so cant some ofthis technically be a tax write off... Also, does it carry the same factory warranty as if you were to buy one of the 399 from the factory (im assuming it does).
