    Awful lot of civilian pilots bought it in stupid accidents. More in the 70's than any other period. The 80's were not quite as bad and accidents were down considerably. The advent of Stalion 51's dual-crontrol saftey program started saving lives in the 90's and remains doing so today. Its impossible to get insurance without completing their 15 hr course. Expensive and extremly difficult. Thanks for the accident report.

    I like the blue one at Harris Imports but too bad about the blue and aqua interior.

    Hi Jerry...yea either your color or dk blue like this one thats in Europe. BTW the only othe chairo-blue I have seen is the one at Steve Harris in SLC. My son got to see it and says its rough. No records for the 1st 10 years.. Seems there is another on the east coast that you have had contact with on this site. Have red but thinking blue...........

    Are you Kidding?!! Pilot aware of low coolant during preflight? Engine blowing steam before previous flight? What was he thinking?

    I take that back, he wasn't. How tragic.

    DJ...my son saw that one up close and the aqua is not aqua....its about a medium blue. Lighter than the car but darker than lt blue. Brant said when he asked the salesman where the blue TR was he got a sheepish look on his face and told him "out back. By the way, how did you know about it"? Told him I had been interested in the car when Don had it but 69K was way overpriced for the lack of records and a little rough throughout. I'd still like to have that car to rebuild. But my age and no experence engine wise have kept me away. I figure the car is worth about 45K. Betcha Don would be open to offers....Harris has it on consignment.

    You're killin' me! 45K? How tempting. The timing is really bad for a purchase like that.........................unless they would consider an equitable part trade for "Old Yaller".

    I couldn't justify paying more until the interior was changed to tan/black. The car has been advertised for a number of months at The Car Experience, click on search, input Ferrari and Testarossa, 4th one down, less than 10k miles for 69k USD. I thought to myself, not with that interior.....................but then, if the price was right..................................................

    Oh well, I have 4 carburetors to rebuild........................

    DJ...my dad always told me "if its to good to be true, its probibaly to good to be true". My dad was seldom wrong I have found out. I'm gunna get in touch with Don. He has some sort of 308 site and resides in SLC. I have been there before but the second thing you forget is..........

    Shure is a good looking TR, but I do like Jerrys chairo blue mo-betta. Hell, any color will do. When your inside of the beast cant see the outside if it anyhow. Gotta look at lifts. CU

    Jeez....you dad did that? He otta be doing more of that kind of thing. Have always envied artsy people...I have to draw stick people and bad ones at that. Have the phone no of the guy that has the chairo blue TR in SLC for you. Paul Green.801-916-0578. He told me that the odo was replaced by Harris and that they rolled it up to 2500 miles. If that rig has only 10k mi on it then I'm only 45yrs old, have lottsa black hair (on my head), married to Christie Brinkley and have 10 mil in the bank. That thing has been rode hard and put away wet. Its only a core. 45 or 50K would be tops. Dig up one of those cans or make him an offer he cant refuse. Has his own site..www.ferrari308.com

    I am not in the position to move on (yet) another project like that TR. Curious to know it's history though. Interesting to say the least.

    My TR has 5500 miles on it & looks it. :) I have had it for a year now & put 3k miles on it. Never been happier. What's not to love??
