How about you do it yourself? It's easy and you will save yourself a few hundred bucks.

What model are we talking about?

You can check with Larry @ Ferrari Technologies (714)639-1706 at 1131 W. Collins Ave. Orange CA 92867.

    Should run around $100 - $120.

    Good luck.

I can second Larry at FerrariTech. Great guy...

However, an oil change is a pretty simple job to do (do you have the owners manual?).

I'm thinking maybe we can have an informal get-together and help Steve change his oil. Are you up to it? Maybe after crystal cove?

I can bring an oil filter wrench, jack, 10/12mm hex wrench for the oil drain plug.

You can provide the oil, the filter. Someone else can bring donuts, beer, etc., etc.

Could be a great learning experience, and maybe we can do a write up for F-chat.

    What do you think?

Go for it, Dom! :) We have your 308 brake change write-up on the Ferrari Driving Club website right now... hehe... For the 348, it's a 12mm hex key. Make sure NOT to lose the copper washer when doing the oil change... Also, make sureto find the right oil drain plug, which is under the panel, facing forward, near the alternator. Easy to do... shouldn't take you more than 1 hour with some help. Air filter hoses come off easily and the intake manifold can be removed to take out the filter... I have extra oem 348 filters if you guys need one... I think they were like $18 each or something. No biggie. :)

    Have fun!

    Thanks everyone for your advice.

Dom, Thanks for your help but your time is more valuable and you need to spend with your kids. I will do it at the FMOC.
