The plate says B 55 FU. There is one for sale in Automall, there is supposed to be anther one in Bandung.
My guess is it's a Ferrari weekend drive. Look a the police escort in front of the Enzo on the last pic
not being smart but it's funny you ask this question. I have heard that the asia pacific region including Australia doesn't register on the radar that often in America. There was a small flood boxing day last year ( tsunami tragedy) which I thought gained world attention. As I said not being smart about it
I know that you are not trying to be smart about it, however; your point is well taken, sadly many people in the US have little knowledge or interest about the outside world - which is why "American Idol" ranks top in the ratings, they do however; have great empathy for those who suffer... as the tally of donations will attest from the small flood that you mention...interesting paradox!
Famous after tsunami huh? I thought Indonesia was already famous since 1998 riots, 2000 stock exchange bombing, 2002 Bali bombing, 2003 JW Marriott bombing, 2004 Aussie Embassy bombing, terrorists trial, etc. Damn, we need more CNN coverage
i have a friend form Indonesia and his dad owns a HUGE villa + several Ferraris and other cars. Unfortunately i have only seen them on photos.
I was there for the whole year of 98 hanging with my Indo friends, exciting period it was! We would go to the train station after the pillage at Glodok and see all the rioters selling brand new fridges and big screen tvs for less than 10 bucks HPs too... It was a terrible incident of course...but I was safe as i was camped out in Kelapa Gading with all the other expats It was a true adventure of sorts...trying to stay safe yet enjoy my time
Oh according to my sources, his name is Pak Januar hahah Heard of him before, but never met him! So Ultimo delivers again kekekek
My dealer friend said he owns one Enzo at the moment. For some time I heard he had two of the same Red Enzo and resell it. He lives in Bandung hence I don't think his car has the B (Jakarta) plate as in the pics, but maybe he register it in Jakarta, who knows. Two Enzos huh? Must be a boring live
Just be careful if you are there: JAKARTA (Reuters) - The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta warned Americans on Friday of a threat to bomb lobbies of hotels in the city, less than a week after blasts killed 22 people in an Indonesian area marked by Muslim-Christian violence. The U.S. embassy itself only reopened on Tuesday after closing for several days following an unspecified security threat. An embassy statement emailed to Americans in Indonesia on Friday said the embassy had learned "there were plans by extremists to conduct bomb attacks targeting the lobbies of hotels frequented by Westerners in Jakarta." "The attacks were to occur circa noon on an unspecified date," the statement said, adding that there was no additional information on timing or method of attack. Police called on hotels to beef up security, the official Antara news agency reported. "The management of hotels must be cautious about all incoming vehicles. Don't forget to open cars' trunks, doors and check thoroughly," Jakarta police spokesman Tjiptono said. Most major hotels already have tight security, with checks of vehicles since a suicide car bombing in 2003 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Jakarta killed 12 people. That attack was blamed on Jemaah Islamiah, a militant group linked to al Qaeda. It has also been accused over the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings that killed 202 people and a blast outside the Australian embassy in Jakarta last year that killed 10. The U.S. Embassy has issued a number of warnings to Americans about security in Indonesia in recent years. Among other things the warnings have advised Americans to avoid hotels, shopping centers, nightclubs and housing areas popular with Westerners. The bombings on Saturday that killed 22 took place in Tentena, a Christian town in eastern Sulawesi island. About 85 percent of Indonesia's 220 million people are Muslim. But in some eastern parts, Christian and Muslim populations are about equal.
i know your not trying to be smart, and im not trying to one-up you or anything, but i do have a semi-good sense for the asian pacific area, for being a 17 year old american kid. yes, i did hear about the tsunami tragedy (RIP those who died), but in seeing nothing but the tsunami on cnn for 5 days, i never once heard jakarta. thats why i asked. i apologize for my american un-intelligence
You guys better pray that nothing like the '98 riot happens again. Many sad & horrific things happened. People were killed, women & girls were raped, homes, shops, malls looted. It was a week of carnage in modern civilisation. I have clients & friends who suffered. One family turned up at my place with nothing left except their clothes & some jewellery from their pockets. No $ left for hotel or food. As for the Bali bombing, one of my driver was killed outside the bar! Not to mention the Malukus, East Timor etc. Peace can only prevail through understanding, tolerence & a good government but this peace & prosperity will not be here in our generation. The tsunami striked @ the poorest & most sensitive region where separatist were fighting for freedom. The joke is that the government police & military suffered because their base is by the beach (An entire battalion was wiped out, not in the news!) while the rebels were safe in the mountains! Other than that, Indonesia is safe. The people are nice and warm. It's the media that's making all the scare. Stay @ sensible areas & you'll be no safer than walking around your own park. As you guys can see, those boys are enjoying their Ferraris!
I agree there's ae some places you don't want to be. Just like America, you know, okay for a bunch or tourist to walk at Disneyland but not in South Central.
Maybe he still own all. Last time Automall displayed one of his enzos but after sometimes he took back the car to Bandung. Automall asked for US $ 1.9 million on the road. He has some other type ferraris also. Incredible!!
