Has anyone heard from Geoff Saul (348 TS) in Hull.
I have heard he had a collison with a lorry on the M62 with his F348 on Monday. The car is going to Nick Cartwright for repair. (Back end smashed in)

I was wondering if he was OK and not hurt ???? I cannot find his e-mail address or remember his avartar on this site to contact him or the family.

I did hear on the radio about a tail back about a accident on the M62. I know he was taking his car to Strasse for annual service....

    Thanks for the PMs guys.

Yes I was hit by a LHD HGV who pulled out into my lane. He simply did not see me at all. Was lucky to prevent a full spin (we were sideways at one point!)

I am OK, but Nickie has some injuries to her neck and shoulder.

Awaiting a slot for the repair work now...

Worth noting that the wagon also had a camera to aid blind spot elimination, but obviously still not effective in this case. Be careful with HGVs fellas!

    Thank you again. Geoff

After the other news today, glad to hear you are alright - wish Nickie a speedy recovery.

As for the car - well given the 2 tragic deaths in the US, lets put it into context - its just a car and can be repaired or replaced - hope the police are taking appropriate action against the foreign driver though - that would be a novelty.

Glad you escaped uninjured, and wish Nickie a quick recovery. This could have been a lot worse.

Geoff , Advice get the car put back to standard if you need to. The insurance company will not pay out sometimes.
These insurance investigators are switched on...
Examples change everything to standard, wheels, exhaust, pedals, gear knob, steering wheel.

Glad to hear you are okay. Hope Nickie recovers soon.

Life's a miraculous thing, and sometimes events unfold that make you think that it is even more miraculous that we hold on to it for any length of time! :)
