Since I think I arguably waste more time on F-chat than anyone else, I was thinking about writing an "F-Chat Week in Review" and posting it as a new thread each Sunday AM.

That way , if you were away and came back you could click on The Thread and find out Carbon is looking for a moped, that John's wife indeed got her lovely bolt-ons, that peters is losing 30 pounds, that supercarfreak passed his ASE test, etc; you know, kinda like a weekly F-Chat Clifford (get it???!!!) notes.

    A gossip column....

    A self-promotional bandwidth hog....

I'm here to provide service to mankind you know.

I'm still hoping for a column on the home page that says simply "Horsefly". This would provide a valuable link to a page consisting of my wit and wisdom in case others don't have the time to plow through all the postings.

And may I say that time spent on F-chat is never "wasted". Especially when it's spent on one's computer at work.

Perhaps regional reporters to add some flair to the column, like this recent snapshot of "coolestkidever" after his post prom party.

Maybe some advice for folks who haven't quite pulled the trigger yet on that 1st Ferrari purchase.

Yo, URO: I tried to make a philosophical statement on driving fast cars & death opposing the ugly alterative but was nixed due to recent news. How about an abstract “life is how you live it.” column? Too far out for this crowd?

But, I'm not sure I'll live long enough to read that column if DD has to write it!

Ahh, once again my tired eyes failed me. I missed the vol 2 reference.

I think URO owes it to us to get out there and buy something before the market explodes and these cars become too expensive.

    OOPS!!! TOO LATE...

Well, there must be some kind of Ferrari out there that doesn't offend the good doctor's frugal shopping habits.

    Doc, wadda ya say??

Uro....go for it, man. You'd be the perfect person for it. I'd be happy to be a "regional reporter" if you'd like. I'm not quite able to make all events here in the Dallas area, but....I can get the info. Let me know if you want any help. Great idea!!

Another great idea!! Could be posted at the end of every weekly update. I do concur. :D

It had been a very good week here, up until the tragedy at Fontana. You have to feel for their families.

Before the horrible news Thursday night, a new and pleasant trend emerged here that I hope continues: people spoke to each other as adults. The discussions have been interesting, but more importantly they have also been civil. Very few personal attacks from what I've seen, even in P&R. I certainly hope the trend continues. This is what Ferrarichat could have always been, and I would like to thank Rob Lay personally for laying down the law and cleaning it up.
