Those of you that frequent the cafe will be aware of this but for those that dont...

I've commissioned renowned FChat artist Bugattiart to make a drawing of my car from a picture that was taken during my recent visit to the Isle Of Man

He'll be posting pictures of the drawing as it progresses in the thread below.

Its looking fantastic already! He really is one talented guy.

I have been speaking with Carsten with a view to commissioning a drawing of my 348 later this year (Apparently he has never attempted a 348 before, so it should be a good experience for both of us!!)

He certainly has - I'm sure you'll agree the results are pretty awesome!

Steve f, this is not just a moderator thing - I am just a lowly peasant here, and he said he will do mine also. (just got to convince the wife its a reasonable birthday present!!!)

He's just finished a Mondy and it was superb. It was viewing that drawing in progress that finally convinced me to get mine done.

Price varies between 300 to about 800 Euros I think depending on how complicated the picture is and whether you want the background including in the drawing. I'm getting a full background so it's going to take him a while to finish it. Send him a picture that you want him to do and he'll give you a quote, that's all I did

For some reason it looks like that on the photo

Not sure why as it was all level the last time I looked at it. Maybe they used a cheap glue when they made the plate and the number's are sliding off? :D

Graham may be worth posting the pic here - or in the actual drawing thread - for the benefit of those who don't frequent the cafe.

EDIT - What size is the drawing ?

Here you go. It'll have to be a link to the full sized version as I haven't got the software to re-size it at work.

He's also doing the entire background and getting rid of the green VW golf that's sneaked into the shot

    Hello UK, :)
Thanks for all your nice words and compliments to my work, I really appreciate it! :) Possibly the second five in the license plate will seem a little too high up on the drawing, but then it is a handmade drawing, not a photo! I hope it will not be too much, to spoil the drawing :)

    Hi Kevan, :)
The drawing is made on 420x297mm/A3 size drawingpaper!

    Cheers

    Carsten
