    Dosn't "mid-engine" mean that the engine are in the back?

    If the engine is mounted in between front and rear wheels, whether it is in the front or the back, it is considered mid-engine. It is more commonly associated with engines mounted in the back, so front mid engine is a term commonly used for a car like the 575.
