I saw a car very much like that in Elkhart Lake last summer... absolutely stunning...

what money, exactly, do the 206s bring?

Yes the targa top is extremely interesting ... does this make it a 206GTS?

I've never seen a targa top on even a 246 with glass rear side windows like this car let alone a 206.

BTW: Nice car ... the first of any series are always the purest and closer to what the designer was aiming for.

    Howdy,
Please register the Dino on my website. Additions/corrections
    always welcome.

You can check the history in my files by typing
in 00144 in the search box. Enter the leading zeros to
    avoid accidental hits.

    I drove a yellow 246 coupe for 14 years..favorite color.

    Bob,

Congratulations on a beautiful 206!! The roof concept looks well thought out. Its great how it retains the line of the coupe while making it removeable. 206's are a rare beast. There are two others I know of here in Southern California.

Anyone know the present whereabouts of this 206? Any more history?

Retaining the beautiful roofline of the coupe and the airy back windows is what makes this so cool. But I doubt you'd be able to slide that top behind the seats. It's hard enough with the flattened top of the GTS.

Bob sold her about a year or so ago. No idea where she went. I saw it, very nice little driver.
