Ok, here you go guys... A 1999 456 w/ our 19 modular wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wheels look good but it seems like there's too much extra space in the wheel well. Maybe a little drop or something might be nice.
The car looks like it is leaning to the right. Kinda like they only changed the driver side for the photo.
If the wheels were made for a 550/456 why does it need to use spacer. Refering to pic #1 (looks like a 15-20mm).
The wheels are VERY sharp looking though. If the spacing and rubber was correct I think I would be interested.
Umm... if they were made correctly you would not need spacers. There is a reason certain race events/tracks do not allow spacers...
If these were true modular wheels, then they should be customized to the correct offset for the car. However, these are ONE PIECE wheels that only LOOK like they're modular. See his thread at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56690 and post #21 where he says specifically, "These wheels are 1 pc wheels, which feature a 3 piece design" and again in post #25 where he says "these wheels are 1pc, not 3 piece"
Spacing may not be correct for the 456 but "Lucky Me", I have a 348 so they may just be perfect on my car... or maybe they would rub every time I hit a stone on the road
I put F575 one piece wheels on my old 456GT. [Sorry I can't post pictures, something wrong with my account.] The 575 vs. the 456 front wheel creates a +7mm additional track width compared to the OEM wheel. I liked the extra width in the way it filled out the wheel well. It also helped to lower the from about 1" The 575 vs. the 456 rear wheel creates a -2mm less track width compared to the OEM wheel, so I moved them out +15mm with a spacer to net +13mm. The car needs the wheels to move out to look good. Same goes for the 550. I know a few owners who have moved their 550 rears out 30mm with spacers. Christian
The customer in the picture was using a 1 in spacer in the rear with a 19x10 rim. For the 456 we are going to begin using a 1 3/4 inch hubcentric spacer to be flush in the rear. We all agree that the rear does require more rubber, so on the next car we are going to do a 35 series profile.
These wheels are produced by Modular Wheels - that is why they are called Modular. So what is your point in the post. We are describing exactly what we are selling.

That's CLEVER marketing, by using "Modular" in the brand or model name. But it's CERTAINLY MISLEADING... when the rest of the world says "modular wheels" they're talking about wheels that 2-piece or 3-piece wheels, made from 2 or 3 modules, NOT 1-piece. Are you telling us that you were not aware of that fact? Image Unavailable, Please Login
