Twin Turbo. Also it probably has a mirror for your wife to put her makeup
    on !!

I know you do not like it. How about the Ford GT a few years from now ?
It will also go South in resale. If it is 1/2 as good as the magz say ?

    TT has lots of potential.

I know you have your mind set... but I'd take Lotus, even though you already have one. Everyone has a Porsche, but who has a loud fast gorgeous Esprit?!

I will most likely go with a Porsche TT of some sort. The Lotus Sport 350 is too much like the one i already own. I was thinking that a E55 or Sl55 with bolt ons and 150 Shot of nitrous would be pretty cool. Certainly a 10 sec, 130+ 1/4 mile and 200+ top end grandpa mobile would be very unique.

Have you thought about a Mosler... Great performance and style... Right at 100k... I personally have never seen one on the road so there is some level of scarcity and if it is an issue there won't be too many reliablity issues...

No, no Mosler. Ive actually spoken to a friend of mine who is going to be moving to Maui this year, and we may build an Ultima.

For now i want something fast, and not flashy.

Fast and not flashy... doesn't Lingflielter (sp?) make a stock looking C5 but with twin-turbo's and some 800hp? I would take the Benz personally, but the 'vette is another option.

If you want a fast luxo-boat ;) how about an older Bentley. Early 90's Turbo R's etc are around 60-70 I believe, great sleepers! That gives you some 20k to play with?! So many options! Thats a great decision to have to make, whatever you get I know you'll have fun with it! Good luck on your choice. :)

tough choices allan. I think the E55 is out for "cool in ten years" hehe. You don't really like convertibles, so why get the SL55? automatic to boot:( I say get the 996 TT, give it the works...Dont even know what that lotus is. Or, do what I would do, get a 993, its the last aircooled-definitely cool for all of time, and really, how much over 600 HP could you need? The autothority one runs a 10.5 quarter! The new Viper is not that bad in black, super easy to maintain (same internals as 60's muscle.) Overall, I think maybe for you the Viper SRT-10, only bc I dont recall you having had one!
