I'm already here waitin' on you guys! Today there is a small car show on the circle downtown. Two cool Lotus Elises' two 355f1's two 308's, a 400i and the Ferrari F1 car. About 20 others as well. Nice start to a fun week in INDY. BTW, we're building a downtown hotel one block from the circle, topping out party is Thursday am. You'll see it the news that night. Book for next years race, it's Indy's only 5 star.
Forget it John...il n'a pas de photos. C'est un menteur. Ou bien, comme disent nos amis Americains..he's F.O.S.!
Thanks for all the replies. I get in to Indy sometime around 3-4pm. Should I go downtown 1st or should I go check in to my hotel on the north side of town. Could not get into anything downtown (D@MN IT!). Is The PitWalk worth it or should I go to the museum?
We'll roll in from an overnight in Terre Haute on Saturday morning. Sunday I'll be in Stand H Section 19, row J or K I believe.. Probably be in Renault gear, or if BAR shines, a BAR replica crewshirt. Look for the goofy brown puma shoes, and the "if you squint he looks like Jenson Button" look.. I'll be with my wife and a few friends from the Cleveland area..
I have a ticket in the paddock penthouse. box 25 row f. I am looking for 2 tickets together. I have a new GF that I want to bring along. Rick
My dad (Grease Monkey) and I will be there by Friday at noon or so. Last year the Corner 6 terrace wasn't much better than anywhere else (no screen) so we'll be back on the corner 7 berm. Great place to watch the race. We've been down there for 2 GPs now, and haven't gotten in on any off-the-track action, so maybe this year. It would be great to hang out with some Ferrari mechanics.

Anyone have any experience with TV signal? Is it reasonably easy to get a signal from a CBS station? - Edit: How did Speed wrestle this one from CBS? Now we can't get the signal OTA, so its either bring a sat dish, or forget having a TV. Bummer.
You mistyped "thank the lord CBS didn't buy this race too, so we don't have to suffer through 47 minutes of adverts, Derek Daly's rubbish commentating and no post race press conference".
