If and when Alonso wins, the sun will shine brightly out of Fav's @rse. If Kimi wins then it will be interesting.

I really do not think Renault have ever really considered Fisi a WC prospect. Like it or not that is the politics of the sport.

Just like Rubens, Fisi needs to start destroying his team mate every chance he gets ... even in testing!. Admittedly Fisi has actually beaten and lead his team mate a couple of times this year and his qualifying performance at Montreal was good (he was carrying more fuel) ... but again IMO Fisi did look a little slow at Montreal and it really was just a great start.

Pete, Renault has never won the constructors by themself, only as an engine manufacturer. Ferrari won in 1979 with Schecter and Villeneuve first and second. Sorry about the grammar, tired.

Fisi and Rubens are in the same situation in one sense ... and you only have to look at last year's Japanese GP to see it: Rubens was fighting up front and Michael was languishing back in 7th. But when the rains came, it was MS that came in for tires, leaving Rubens dangling in the wind.

Ferrari is all about Michael, and Renault is all about Fav's fav boy, Alonso. First priority is in getting the #1 car to work ... and, oh yeah, we have to fire up that other car, too. Both Rubens and Fisi have been seeing the results of less attention to the #2 car, in terms of reliability.

Britore is probably topping the list of "People you wouldn't want to work for", these days.

But then, maybe Fav is getting annoyed that Trulli has been getting far more out of the lesser Toyota than either of Fav's drivers are getting out of the Renault. So Fav is probably also near the top of the list of "People whose judgement you shouldn't go by."

Early in the season, it looked like the championship was Renault's to lose. Seems Britore will manage to lose it.

Maybe they should sign up Fisi and Britore for that new TV show: "Fire me please". ;)

Fisi was making more mistakes in the Chicane before the hairpin straight while Alonso looked like he was on rails.

Rubens and Fisi are in a similar situation with the ony difference being you don't see Jean Todt talking smack about Rubens. Flav is a bunghole. I hope Kimi wins....:)

Why didn't Fisi try to rejoin the race? It seemed that his team was trying to fix the problem in the pit but he didn't want any of it and walked out. Maybe that's why Flavio was mad.

    Ciao, Peter

Fisichella lost all hyrdraulic pressure. It cannot be fixed within a 30 second pitstop. He did not want to bring shame to the team like Sato brought to BAR... retiring twice in one race!

Sato had two mechanical failures as apposed to Alonso's one brain failure. If anyone on brought shame upon their team it was Alonso.

Whether or not a piece of machinery works is out of the drivers hands. Especially with the controlled systems on today’s cars (rev limiters, etc…) Hitting a wall on the other hand while having a perfectly good race car under you is a different situation all together.

BAR Honda mechanics have repeatedly mentioned the fact that "Sato cannot drive and his way of handling the car causes adverse reactions". Either way... Sato is not a real F1 racer because Honda bought him a race seat and BAR sold it to them. The guy is quite simply put ... horrible and talentless... Anthony Davidson desrves the seat!

Fisichella did not want to go out again because it would have taken time to fix the car and it would have been pointless to race 5 or 6 laps down.

The pressure is clearly having effects on Alonso and the Renault team. Alonso was panicing and pushing too hard. A small lapse in concentration resulted into a big mistake. Its been a long time since they (Renault) were in this position and it is not easy to stay in front when everyone is gunning for you.

All this talk about Alonso and Fisci sure counteracts the handholding runs along the beach in matching blue bermuda shorts/shirts that are pictured in the F1 magazine a month ago.......

the season is a marathon not a sprint, my concern was why MS got off the line so slow. All that work to get a decent qualifying spot and he got smoked off the line. I thought the Renault guys were great at the start, But unfortunately experience given talent will always prevail in the long run.

Love to see where you got this information. Just because you put it in "quotes" doesn't mean it's true. We're onto you... and you know it. If you've been in school you know to site your source material. So DO IT! I for one am beginning to get very tired of your misinformation. Site your sources.

We're all still waiting for the photos of you in the Ferrari garage from this past weekend.
    Dream on.

While i might like to see Davidson in the seat i think Sato is alright. Many people on this forum are getting sick of things being passed off as fact when it is a fabrication. Here's your chance, prove us all wrong, what source would this come from? Also waiting to see pics from the elite suites.

HA! How short the human memory is! It was a well documented fact from the 2004 season that Sato driving caused all kinds of engine failures for BAR. Dave Richards as well as other BAR mechanics were extremely frustrated with the stress Sato put on those Honda engines.

I never said I pictures from the Ferrari garage... you should learn to read!
