I was wondering is Stebro exhaust much loader than standard OEM exhaust.

Rob, both of these cars are Seies I or II 250 GTEs. The one that's throwing you off just doesn't have the driving lights mounted in front of the grille (most did, but some did not). A 330 America is visually indistiguishable from a Series III car (with driving lights integrated into the front fenders) except for a 330 America badge on the rear and even that doesn't seem to have been placed on all 50 or so cars.

Yes, it is similar to a Tubi but not as cosmetically polished and only about half the price. Also, unlike a Tubi, it has exhaust tip inserts that are removeable if you REALLY want it to sound like a full race/challenge car.

Well, I'm unfortunately only bringing a wide angle lens, but I'll be sure to collect and post a crapload of photos! :) Hopefully I can snag some from the F-Chat get-togethers over the next couple of days :)

This morning I talked with the guy from Ontario that has the 1979 308 with wire wheels that I posted earlier -- he said they are original Borani wheels and the car came that way from the factory... there were TWO such cars that came into Canada that year.

I wonder if it was a option available to everyone or how they were able to get them ordered.

not my cup of tea regardless. ;)

Well, If any of you ferrari owners feel the need to drive to the northside to help out a struggling college student who valets at a nice restaurant/nightclub in Indianapolis, feel free to :). I am valeting tonight at Vizion/Vapour at 82nd and Allisonville. It is fairly easy to get there from the circle (which I will be at from about 4-5:15). Go north on meridian to 82nd take a right and drive until you see the big Vizion/Vapour sign on the north side of the street (about 5 miles from meridian). Havent seen a ferrari up there in a while.

OK - here's a shaky movie of Michael zipping by on the front straight during practice today. The sound is deafening, and your ears still hurt with ear plugs in!

    Hey guys,

I'm here with a buddy of mine. I saw the cars parked here in the "informal corral". I also saw lots of people taking pics and one was taking a pic with their kid sitting on the fender of the red 355 on the end. I suggested that he not sit on the cars. Unfortunately when they are unattended like that, you never know what can happen.

My buddy and I are staying at the Red Roof Inn at 465 & Crawfordville. We still need some place to stay for Sat & Sun night. Let me know if any one has any good ideas.

Here was the Ferrari group parking during the Friday practice session.

By the way, this was the first time I've been to a Formula One event "live" -- it is SO much different (better) than seeing it on TV! It is INCREDIBLE.
