Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

I've invited him to join us tomorrow. He just bought the Red Testa I was eyeing & there's another new 355 owner (ex Lung) who'll be joining us soon. Oh boy this is getting exciting. I've also invited a specialist in exotic car insurance who's helped a few owners get better deals on our exp. insurance. Not your typical 2nd hand car dealer sucker. All young, "handsome" & hardworking people here

Hope we can organise more regular outings soon when all our horses are ready. Sadly, now 4 out-of-action.

 

Somehow I feel all your mugshots and car pics will turn up at sgforums.com on Saturday night, in the car section....they have alot of snoops and wannabes there always illegally snapping pictures of cars all over Singapore......

Ahhh, thanks for letting me know the engine is out... I may not be able to make tomorrow- the wife just informed me that she has organised a fathers day baking course for me (well, my son is baking a cake for me and I have to help)!!! Will call you if I can make it.

BTW, what makes 0-100 in 1.9 secs? Is that from X-box or some superbike? I was reading specs from Noble M400 & it does it in 3.5secs.

Yes yes David...I bot my automobile books from him. I also bot some other T-shirts and other stuff from him. I remember I use to give his mom my company diaries. But that was along time ago... 98-00?

Yup, come over some time... got a bit of a model car collection as well. Plenty of Porsche books and magazines (over 100 issues of Excellence, lots of Japanese books on Porsche etc)- will call you to organise soon.

0-100 in 1.9 sec is a 1/8th scale radio control car running on 20% nitro fuel. Great fun, just haven't had the time to fiddle in it for almost a year.

 

If you ever travel to Perth, try Pitstop Bookshop in King Street. Bought a lot of great books from them.

Videos and movies that are car related, but they are best known for their books. What other type of memorabilia do you collect lung? I got a couple of "classic" car movies from them such as Le Mans and Bullit (steve mcqueen), rendevous (french movie done in 60's which was basically a video through the streets of paris in a daytona- totally illegal but quite interesting and some other "illegal street drives" through amsterdam etc.

let me know when you are down there... I may be there as it is my home town and we can tee up...

 

I don't really collect ferrari stuff...but I do have the entire collection of Forza from no 1 to 62. I have an original 98 F1 Team spring jacket, some original team polos... nothing more than that I think.

 

hey guys, very nice to meet everyone who turned up. u people were very friendly and the Noble was VERY scary. Thanks to the AM people for being very welcoming hosts.

i have never sat in a car which accelerates so fast before, everything around me just went blur when accelerating. and i couldnt even keep my head forward.

Well, just back to post a last message for the day. Finally have a reunion with you guys & welcome EnzoKai, Benjamin & Wilson (last two are new F car owners!) Unfortunately, Harold, Synergyx & Philip can't make it last minute but Colin did turn up in his nice Blue M Spider. Managed to have more time this round to have a good chat & drive around. Thanks to the guys @ AM who hosted us some snacks & drinks. They did offer us to make there our regular monthly Sat. gatherings in future What do you guys think? The circuit around that estate's not too bad. Did anyone take photos? I took just a few. Hope to have a group drive around next time.

Hey, can I loan a few copies from u? There are a few issues that has buyer's guide etc. I don't know which year Model Car Store closed but it looks dated & dusty the last time I visited, 2yrs ago?? Anyway, I almost bought the 1/5th Enzo last year direct from Bell factory in Belgium=S$5K+/- but some comm. screwed up & I lost interest. It's limited to 399pcs too like the real stuff & now they have the classic 250GTO.

Harold, how's the cake? I don't mind some nice vintage films, so much more romantic & beautiful actresses. Didn't know RC has nitro fuel & still trying to imagine how fast it's spinning to 100 within 1.9sec....
