Was anyone else at the SeeRed festival at Donington last year ? If you were can you confirm the chassis numbers of the Dino 206 S driven by Harry Leventis and the 412 P driven by Peter Hardman

The info I have (FOC Ferrari mag Winter 04) is:

    Dino 206 S H. Leventis is 0834 (driven by P. Hardman race 1).
412 P P. Hardman is 0844 (same car driven by H. Leventis in Race 1).

    Hope this helps.

By the tone of third post on F.Chat I don't think he'll bother to come back and check if he has an answer to his query. Shame he only gave us one and three quarter hours before giving up.

And if you do comeback Marlin, good, but please read the smilies as they are intended. As a rule there's usually more useful answers than tongue in cheek ones.

    :)

Thanks for confirmation from the other "anoraks". If you knew me you'd know how good a sense of humour I have. Sorry, I have a greater interest in the older Ferraris rather than the newer Ferrari badged Fiats. LOL

I know you were trying to make a joke but I'm trying to find the Fiat angle? ... I believe all our cars on this thread were designed and built whilst Enzo was still around... in fact the most modern one is owned by the guy you just called an anorak, Tony H with his 355!

Sorry, I don't have the right sense of humour for this forum. I wasn't the first to use the "anorak" term and I certainly didn't mean anyone any offence to Tony H. The Fiat reference is obviously too subtle. Thanks for the information. See ya.

It would be a shame to let one flippant comment put you off a whole wealth of Ferrari info and experience. And the Fiat ref wasn't lost, it's just all the guys on this thread, apart from Tony's 355, drive the older styled Ferrari's indicative of the last of Enzo's era before the might of the big motor manufacturing design principles kicked in. Granted though, there may be the odd switch here and there from the Fiat parts bin :D
