http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4557156307 It's an auction, so scroll down to the bottom of the page and page up to see all of the pics. It will take a bit to load them all (14 MBs total).
jeff, stunning car and no reserve? that's couragious!!! what is your expected price and would you the end auction early if it doesn't reach it?
Ninety nine pictures, 13.4 mega bytes; 99 pictures and not one picture of the data plate or the assembly number...?!? Beautiful car, i hope you're replacing it with something else...
> not one picture of the data plate or the assembly number...?!? Heh, yeah, didn't even think of that! > stunning car and no reserve? that's couragious I figure ebay's a good value finder, and tends to favor the seller, so I don't think it's too risky. I've had several good take-it-off-ebay offers already, but I'm just going to let it go to the end I think. > what is your expected price and would > you the end auction early if it doesn't reach it? I dunno what it will hit, maybe $190K? Who knows, for sure? Nope, I want to sell it this week, so it's going to be sold one way or the other <grin>. > gorgeous car! why sell it? I just don't drive it very much. We have really small spots at my work, so I'd be scared about getting dinged, so, best case, I only drive it once or twice a week, and that's kinda crazy. > Beautiful car, i hope you're replacing it with something else I actually ordered an Ariel Atom 2 today. I won't feel bad about parking that anyway, and it's a little farther along the impractical scale. It's really ugly, though.
> Jeff, have you ever had this 360 for sale before...? Nope. > Wow, that thing looks pretty crazy. 0 - 60 in 2.9 seconds Yeah, think of it more like a motorcycle than a car? Like you can't drive it in any weather that you wouldn't drive a motorcycle, and you are similarly exposed. But it should be fun and I won't always be scared to park anywhere.
> allow me to participate in a price discovery process Go for it, my friend! <grin> Actually, as an aside, ebay sure brings out the crazies. I've had several buy-it-now offers for the great, amazingly price of almost $30K! I had to subtlely explain that this was early in the auction process, and while I couldn't be 100% sure, I did think the car would eventually go for a little over that. "But, that's $10K more than it's at right now," they would exclaim! I took the time to explain that the price does tend to go up as the auction continues - I think they were very disappointed. I guess I would be too, if I couldn't get a 360 for $30K. Now that the price has gotten up there a bit, I think the goofy folk will go bid $20K on a McLaren or something.
assuming there is no issue, you can thank me by ending the aution right here at my current bid price ......unless Darth550 talks me out of it again )
> Do you have it on consignment anywhere...? Sorry! Forgot to answer - nope, it's sitting in my garage. > My guess is it should sell 170-180K. Black interior has a smaller audience. Yeah, that's possible. I like the black way, way more than the tan, personally, though.
Well, then i think you might have a problem... Since August of 2004, someone has been trying to sell your car, every month, up until the end of March of this year...
> Well, then i think you might have a problem... Since August of 2004 What do you mean? Ferrari of Seattle was trying to sell it last year, but they haven't had it since December.

>They advertised it as recently as the 25 March 2005 issue of the Ferrari Market Letter... Huh - they must have forgot to cancel the ad. I'll send them an email. > At $219,000, no less...! Man, I wish I could get that!
So Jeff, did you ever call FoS and find out why they were advertising your car all the way up until March...?
> So Jeff, did you ever call FoS Their only response was: "I just took a look and your car is not listed on Ferrari Market Letter, it hasn't been for a while now." Down to the last days of the auction - had an offer to trade for some persian rugs today...
