Please take heed gentlemen......... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2192&item=4556985749&rd=1 Laughed my ass off Paul
Mental note to never put any car in future wifes name, no matter what !! Ha Ha Ha Thats tough but i like her style
Ha, look at her previous eBay deal... http://cgi1.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemWithCategory&item=6187331783 The rest of her feedback history reeks of attempts to get her and others' feedback up, actually... Wouldn't be surprised if it's a publicity stunt for that chap whose name I've forgotten already.
No this was in the newspaper - she really did sell the car for 50p. The guy who bought it must be ecstatic. The same probably can't be said for the guy who owned it.
Oh I read it in several papers yesterday but it's just a little hard to believe, especially given her eBay history .
The guy in the photo next to Lotuse was on the radio. Its belongs to a DJ who was being interviewed by Jodi Marsh. They were flirting on the radio station big time and the DJ wife was listening to radio station and decided enough is enough and sold the car on ebay while the interview was taking place. It was in the papers......
She states that she is the registered owner, wonder if she really means only that the V5 is in her name and hence the registered keeper, as they can be two different things. Some lease companies will retain ownership, however the keeper will have a registration document with them as the registered keeper. Therefore one slight twist to look out for when buying a car, to ensure the seller really is the owner (same situation when a person buys on HP and the ownership does not pass from the Credit company until a % of payments have been made). Chap who bought the car for 50p may still find its not his. But 50p looks like a great chance to take.
Sounds believable........... One of you guys should have bought it instead of talking about it. Then we would know for sure. If she was in my town, I would have bid.
Bloody hell someone got a right bargain. But its a lotus so it probably wont stay running for very long! I read about a women who sold her husbands rolls royce for £1 some years back. Apparantly she put the ad in autotrader and got no calls. Everyone thought it was a misprint. Then a trader called and asked how much. He couldnt get there fast enough apparantely!!! The moral of the story is not about whose name the car is in, it about not cheating!!!
