I can only speak for myself but, when I visit this site I fantasize about Ferrari ownership and I don't think about the bad things in life. I have been in accidents and had near death experiences but, I have been very lucky and survived.
One of by best friends had a 4-wheeler accident and was partially paralyzed but, he regained the use of all of his body overtime. After that happened to him it has been something that I have thought about a lot. I always thought it was one of the worse things that could happen to me.
Driving in the Hill Country on the weekends is one of my favorite things to do in life. Your story makes me realize that you can still enjoy the greater things in life, even after tragic accidents.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. Your post makes me smile every time I see it.
I look forward to the video if you shoot one.

Marc, If I were you, I would take that idea and make it a reality, and judging from the looks of your motivation and the attitude you bring to the table, if you decide to go with it, it will be a success in no time.

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR AWSOME FERRARI 355

So now we know the REAL reason for drilled pedals is so you can fit hand controls! Cool! Sounds like you can 'thumb and index' like the rest of us heel and toe. Hope you enjoy your beautiful yellow wheels for a very long time to come. Congratulations on finding the car.

Congrats on the car. It's one of my favorites resembling the Corvette's targa design. A drop top with all the safety of a coupe. Great story and enjoy the car.

May I please nominate Marc for, at a minimum, "Post of the Month?" This is further proof of the human spirit and a refusal to resign.

    Enjoy the 355, Marc.

What a way to deal with adversity! No self pitying crying in your beer over a country and western song. WTG and congratulations on the car.

    Marc,

Thank you for sharing your special day. Your experience is inspiring and an education on how ones mind is the most powerful engine in the world. The heart is merely the fuel...

    Congratulations and Buono Fortuna.

Wow, the hand controls are really clever. Da Vinci said it best centuries ago ... "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".

    Congrats at all levels! :)
