It's just 6,000 miles per year. That's just barely enough driving to keep an F-car properly lubricated and the carbon blown out!

The more that you drive an F-car, the *better* she gets...

It is a repaint, note that the body shop forgot to reseal the c-pillar joint with black silicone rtv where it meets the rear fender.

Also, the seats are either new covers or recent redye....note how it does not match the worn and faded door panels and console. It could be a decent "driver" if the mechanicals have been kept up...suspension bushings, shocks, etc.

Of course it's a repaint and the seats have been done etc.
But it is a pleasure to see how an italian car can look with this milage.

That car recently sold on Ebay for $21500 or so. It was for sale by a private owner in Northern VA. Note that it still has the VA inspection stickers on the windshield. Nice looking example for the mileage. If I remember correctly it was well serviced with records, but was missing the exhaust shroud.

Now all of us 308QV owners can relax and enjoy the years and years of enjoyment these cars will bring us. I will probably never sell mine.

Great eye! It also has a Euro front bumper...I personally like the US bumpers. But if you're going to try to make it looke Euro, change the back bumper too.

I've done some research on QV GTB's in the US, since I used to own an 85 myself. The first thing I found is that they are quite rare. I guess everyone wanted to be Magnum in those days. The 2nd thing that surprised me is the number of 100K+ and other high mileage examples there are. Evidently, the original buyers actually bought them to drive-- a lot! Unfortunately, a number of them were modified to look like GTO's and others made into track cars. So, if you want a nice low to medium mileage, original US QV GTB, better be patient, they are hard to find. BTW, mine was a wonderful driving car, much better than the 84 GTS I owned at one time.

With a 5 digit odometer I wouldn't be surprised if the 308's with "half" or "low" mileage actually had MORE than the one in the ad.

Do not EVER believe the milage on a 308 - unless it's very high. Trust me.

Some do, some don't. My 84 has 6. I do not think the 2V inj cars ever had more then 5. I cannot recall if the 83 QV's did. Anyone?

That car is a Euro car. It would be good to find out if has DOT/EPA paperwok. The rear deck is a US rear deck, so it may have been in an accident and replaced the Euro deck with the US one.

    Nice looking car though
