at how many people somehow think Ferrari is too blame for this mess when all they did was showup to a race with a TECHNICALLY SUPERIOR TIRE and then are expected to compromise because the b!tches at Michelin couldn't get their **** together. Here's how this should be dealt with:

    1) Michelin needs to take out full page ads in all major worldwide newpapers apologizing for their gross incompetence and congratulating Bridgestone and Ferrari.
(certainly from a PR standpoint the right thing to do)

    2) FIA should impose a stiff fine on Michelin and their teams; however I don't think taking points from Michelin shod teams is fair to the drivers as they really had no decision in the matter (Michelin couldn't guarantee their safety) and

    3) They should give all Ferrari and Porsche owners (the 2 greatest sportcar manufacturers when one factors in racing heritage) discount coupons for any make of tire from the Tirerack!

Seriously, Michelin has no excuse. They are the oldest tire manufacturer in the world, this season have dominated F1, make the best motorcycle racing tires and yet show up at Indy without a clue. This is F1, not a local autocross. Because they were 100% unprepared, they asked for modifications to the circuit and FIA properly said no. Where is that chief b!tch Ron Dennis, Flavio Briatore, Frank Williams, etc. with their criticism of Michelin? Michelin **** the bed, pure and simple. They must take step # 1 as set forth above and hope FIA takes it easy on them but I doubt it. People I work with who normally couldn't spell "F1" were talking about this farce this morning.
