I can only afford to go within a 30 mile radius of Peterborough, with the price of Optimax and 12 cylinders hahahaha
There is a chance I will be there in the afternoon. will you be on a stand or in the single make parking area?
Ray, Went along late in the day and you were no where to be seen so assume you were not hanging around for the prizegiving! Couldn't get there earlier as I went on a long drive out in the morning. Saw a handful of Ferraris but no FOC display which was a bit disappointing. Ken
Hi Ken sorry i missed you .The prizegiving was at 3 30pm ,i won my class hollow victory though not many in the class ,but gets me to the Classic and Sportscar final at the N E C in September sometime Soon as the photos had been taken we were out of there to miss the traffic. We had to leave home at 4 30 am to get there so was a long day Will post some pics later .Ray360M
Tell you what Mal considering the area Kent covers and the amount of Ferrari owners in it I was also very surprised how few Ferraris were there We noticed four Ferraris and three that thought they were if you know what i mean. Bromley Pageant is a major car show and has bean running for years So where were you Kentish owners ??????????????? RAY360M
I have no excuse, I am local and wanted to take the car out that day. however checked the website and it said that you had to pre-reserve for one make parking. I didn't fancy taking my chances in the general parking, I then heard on the radio that the traffic was bad, so thought sod it ! If they were to grant an "amnesty" on the one make parking thing for people in "exotics" then I am sure that they would get more to attend on the day. Any thoughts ???
Kent FOC will deffo be having a presence there next year. I was organising it this year but I had logistical problems, and it got later and later, and became unfeasable. But next year it's a cert......
Hi Stig They are pretty easy to deal with for one make parking .I had 15 or so Ferraris in there three years ago from the Wessex Ferrari Group You must get there early or the traffic as already stated is a nightmare We heard tales yesterday of 1to1.5 hours to get parked at around 10 30 am Great show as always loads to see.. It is a family event so I took my Austin Healey as I can fit the family in it. Also last year there were no real Ferraris only replicas, so I thought it wasnt an event Ferrari people bothered with.
