This episode seems to be made up of small bits of other episodes put together to make an hour show.

It isn't in the proper Top Gear format.

That episode is on July 6th (with repeats July 9th and 10th). I have it at 7pm PDT on Directv (I think we get an East Coast feed on DSC).

What an annoying cast of characters.
It felt like 5th Gear took all the good talent.

The people and their commentary were annoying. Maybe everyone's going ga-ga over this watching it muted?

On the other hand, did anyone watch Pinks on Speed? No foolin, racing for pink slips on your own vehicle! I see a new topic for the "Would you put an American V8 in your Ferrari" thread... Put in a flat crank short track motor with 400 hp that'll SOUND like a stock 200 hp 308 engine and don't open the hood!

Maybe that's where the difference in the UK v US sense of humour comes in. We like it mainly because of their total lack of political correctness :D

I take it by that you mean Vicki Butler-Henderson ;)

I completely disagree... Ive been enjoying Clarkson and the other Top Gear personalities for several years now. Only now I dont have to DL it off the internet to watch it. They arent a new cast, and I believe they predate the 5th Gear program, which I also enjoy.

Yes, Top Gear was out several years before 5th Gear, and Tiff Needle used to be one of the presenters.

Saw the show for the first time on the Discovery channel last night at 9pm in Wisconsin. Thanks for posting the date and time, I enjoyed the show. The commentators were pretty crazy though. Always enjoy watching footage of great cars!

i actually like these guys, they are honest... and there is a lot of editing for the american market. they took out a lot of american bashing comments. great show though, i want a konegseigg(sp?) now, even though it isnt as fast as an enzo, i think it still looks better, sounds better, and has some better features to maker it more driveable.

OK, thanks for the clarification on Tiff being the one that went to 5th Gear from Top Gear, I thought the entire cast defected or somesuch.

Oh, and I DID like seeing that short guy's eyes popping out of his head in the offroad truck! That was pretty funny! Aside from that... meh. I'll spend that portion of my Wed night watching the Tuner Challenge on Speed. Living near Detroit, I'll root for my friends on the GM factory team!

Who said the Koenigsegg isn't as fast as an Enzo? The CCR has faster 1/4 mile times and a higher top-speed.
