11 Sep 01 was uneventful for me. 12 Sep 01 was not. I was in Maylasia supporting a visit by GEN Shinseki. International date line. I'll never forget. Never.

My heart has stopped beating for extended periods two times in my life. Once shortly after birth, again 17 years latter.

    Randy,

Holy Shee-ought. Same here! I saw them in Calgary for the first time. Latest, third time, was in Atlanta for the 30 year tour.

I still have all my old concert shirts. BOC, Rush Moving Pictures, Judas Priest Point of Entry, and a load of others. Might still have my Sabbath Heaven and Hell.

First concert I saw was Joe Perry Project, Judas Priest, Scorpions.... and (can you believe it) Heart!

I shared an elevator with Mary Lou Retton, Chicago, spring 1985.

I could have had free tix to Stevie Ray Vaughn's last concert at Alpine Valley but turned them down.

I was told by my high school guidance counselor not to bother applying for college and ended up getting about a 75% scholarship to University of Miami and having the highest GPA in my class of Architectural students. I may consider taking that fool to lunch in the 348 and giving her a little scare around the corners.

Also, even though I fear someone is hiding under the bed I must sleep with one leg hanging off the side of the bed almost touching the floor.

First concert I saw was... Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Sammy Hagar, and Journey! There was an unattractive and undernourished woman on ludes dancing naked near me, not pretty.

I've broken all the fingers, some more than once. Both my hands, both my feet, all of my toes, both ankles, both tibias, 6 ribs, my back, my neck, my left arm, my right elbow, my tailbone, my collar bones, chipped some teeth, my skull, dislocated my hips a lot, dislocated my right arm and I've broken my nose 5 times and now it is permanently broken, and I used to know every nurses name at bryn mawr hospital. All were injuries from skateboarding.

Sounds like the switch to golf and running was a wise one. ;)

Yeah it was, but I have been hit by a golf ball. My head hurt from that. And I love how the object of a game is to hit people from 100s of yards away with a tiny white ball, but I've been told there is another way to play golf. I love running but I can't run more than a mile without my ankle really hurting.

I used to be a skateboarding kid. I skated from about the age of 11 or 12 till I was 15 and was in the accident which fractured my pelvis. I've had many boards, all kinds, but nothing recent. Put it this way, the last one that I had was a Lance Mountain carbonite - which blew when it was scuffed and got a little wet. Those swiss bearings were also crap compared to the german bearings. Yea, it's been a while. And I've had an itching for it in the last few years.

Loved it, just loved it. Never had a broken bone, except for the fracture from that car accident. Only injuries were losing lots of blood from various forms of getting scuffed up - most of which were hillarious due to the amount of adrenaline and a chip of skin out of my lip - which you cannot see or notice since it was sewed up so well.
