Almost forgot, the F355 also had the titanium connecting rods, another first for road cars
The 355 Spyder and the 348 Spyder are, in my opinion, the sexiest Ferraris made. There would be no other choice for me in regard to the purchases of my first two Ferraris - Yellow/Black for the 355 and Red/Tan for the 348. After those two particular lusts were sated, then I'd turn my eye towards a 550 Barchetta (perhaps dark blue, for a change of pace) and a red 308 (to suit the 'Magnum, P.I.' enthusiast in most of us). After that, perhaps a white/tan TR and/or a black/tan Daytona spyder (to appease the 'Miami Vice' fan in me). Beyond that, I have no idea... the 360's not an unattractive car - however, there are other Ferraris that either immediately catch my eye moreso than the 360, or have already held my eye (and my interest) for a much longer time and therefore have a dearer place in my heart. But ultimately, each enthusiast will have a different favorite, and no one else should criticize them for their own tastes. Patrick W. Heinske -- [email protected]
I prefer the looks of the 355 over the 360 - but I have not driven a 360 and certainly the driving experience makes a big difference. The "fun factor" behind the wheel is what led me to purchase my 348 spider when looking at 328's. I do think the 348/355 sounds better than the 360 as well. Cheers Kevin
