Ok. This is happened a few times now. I've downloaded a big video of something (anywhere from 50-140mb) and when i play it its only like 50 seconds long. BUT when i drag the little thing on my player to jump to a certain part in the video, it skips ahead to a part thats not there if i watch it without jumping through (the 50 sec clip). So i know that teh rest of the video is there, its just that it won't play it. I've tried realplayer and windows media and divx player but none of them pick up the rest of teh video. Its almost like the video has been compressed and i need to uncompress it.

Does anyone know what i am talking about here and can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Chris

...and if all else fails, try to re-encode the video with TMPGenc or Virtualdub.

lol... I was half asleep when I wrote that last night. I second vlc.

Although, it probably isn't a codec issue if he can play some of he video. I was thinking more along the lines of some sort of corruption within the video in which case recoding might help.
