Too bad it's on the same day as the Griot's Garage Tech Session event in Fife, which starts at 10AM. Maybe I'll do the car show instead, it looks like a fun location.
Okay, I registered. I wanted to go to the Magnolia Car Show that Tyson is sponsoring, but I have a wedding to attend that day. Hope the KBSG VW beetle chicks are hot. They are supposed to be handing out free stuff....I will pass the the Griot's event, I have all the free Speed Shine I can use for now...
OK- since you guys are going, I decided to sign up too! I filled out the online registration, so now it's wait and see if they "accept" my car entry or not.
Gary, I think your car has a decent shot at getting accepted for the QA show ;-) Also, I'll be posting Magnolia Village information and a link to our online registration soon. Sorry to hear you'll be unable to make it this year Dave.

Tim from Griots just contacted me to reconfirm the date on the 6th. Hopefully some of us can make it down there.
I received my confirmation/show info in yesterday's mail. Is anyone else going to the car show this Saturday- August 6th, other than me, Dave, Eric, Dan, Stewart. ?? They do allow cars to show up on the morning of the event. Cost is $10 and their sponsors will be giving out free gifts and certificates, etc.. to participants. http://queenannecarshow.com/index.html

Dan R. also showed up in his extremely radical 996 SPS Ducati racing bike, but I didn't get a shot of it (See his previous picture/post). Tim, Not a lot of people, it was the first year...and the location was sort of odd, behind Buca DeBeppo and Ducati of Seattle. Sort of an industrial/light manufacturing area, but the prime sponsor (a large autobody and restoration shop) were located there as well. They really need to move this to lower or upper QA hill to improve attendance, and attract more sponsors, but closing a street in those neighborhoods would be difficult.
Thanks, their are exact copies of the factory ones (in cloisenne), done in a special run, only 1.5mm thick (half as thick as the originals). They don't seem to stick out too much.
