I spent this afternoon working on a black and black '04 911 (I think its an '04) owned by one of the owners of DPS Motorsports in Agoura Hills. It has a list of modifications and after I crawled into the racing seats to work on the interior, I thought those PZero Corsa's in the back must lead a very hard life. :D

Here are the pics, before and after, followed by couple quickie reflection shots. There wasn't much besides units on the right and the left, so no trees, clouds, etc as I would have wished. Once it was moved outside, the breeze instantly started to put specks all over it so thats what the little dots are in the reflection. And, the scratch grouping towards the end after some nasty bird waste was removed by the owner completely came out.

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon... well, for me anyway!

Awsome. Always good to see someone showing a sun shot with black paint. With black and the sun, there is no lying. I am sick of all the people showing post polishing pics of a silver car in the shade. What was your procedure? I too enjoy the long days of polishing black paint.

Thanks!! Porter Cable 7424, yellow pad, speed 5, Meguiar's #9 worked in well followed by two coats of NXT.

I did my own Jag Monday morning, nothing heavy, just a quick run of #9 speed 4 with a yellow pad for an hour or two and its flawless. I mean, not a swirl on it. Its Anthracite paint so its a bit more forgiving but I just love a dark (black, blue) paint job.
