If i had the money, i'd snatch that bad boy up in a heart beat...! i always wanted to go to Ireland - and that place right there looks like the perfect spot...! That place literally promotes the phrase "ends of the earth"...

Not to mention it may be a historic piece. That means you have to contact the Queen herself everytime you wash the windows, just to make sure the cleaning agent doesn't damage the glass. I may exagerate a bit, but that's how it is. Kinda $ucks.

A friend of mine owned a 500+ year-old castle in Germany. Apparently it was a great idea until they realized that it would be 3-4x their initial investment to get it up to snuff. Because this place was completely isolated, it wasn't even worth going there w/free rent.

Like in an episode of Blackadder where he is trying to sell his house, the lady asks if he has plumbing, and he replies "It has the latest in open-air, front orifice plumbing" in otherwords, you crap in a pot and throw it out the front window. I'd probably dump some cash into a lot of solar cells for hot water and power since I doubt that you have electricity, and you had better bring a dvd plaer because I doubt you can get cable or worse yet, a phoneline , and seeing how satellite requires a phoneline, no tv :(
