well ashsimmonds, im sure everyone would love to be able to buy a 12cyl lambo , but u may have noticed that these cars tend to not be within everyones budget...
While I don't like how it looks, I give the owner props for having the balls to customize their car. I don't see why people get their panties in a bunch because somebody spends money that they earned on something that they want.

It doesn't look as good as I expected. They need to go up higher ... I think completely vertical or nearly there would look better (and be easier to get into).

Also, the black ones look ok because they go straight up - if they only went a little higher it would be nice. The other ones that stick out on the sides - gross!!
I don't think it looks good at all; doesn't open up enough. The only way that could be achieved with a door in those dimensions would be to have it like the Koenigsegg CC's doors. Now those are awesome!
I'm gonna buy a Murci and do a conventional door mod.....ok just kidding. I agree that it needs to go up higher to look right. There was a civic with doors like that sitting across from a Murci at the NC-FCA meet in May, very funny in my opinion.
I think they look great. But I agree the opening is too small, and the bottom corner of the door on these kits tends to be in just the right place for gouging a deep laceration into your forehead. Those kits that open more to the side seem to brige the gap to how the DB9's door open-- up and out.
Anyone have an idea how the Koenigsegg door hinges work? I just checked out their website ( http://www.koenigsegg.com/thecars/design.asp?design=4 ) but not very clear to me.
If Im not wrong, the firs picture on the yellow Gallardo is in front of Lamborghini headquarter Sant'Agata in Italy. Who made it, a factory worker? I to like the black G with the doors. /Ingo
It looks like the are pushed out of the body so they are sitting beside the car and then they rotate up.
