Im happy to go with whatever everyone decides. It was nice in Airtrack in terms of saftey of the car, nothing getting nicked, having a bar and cold beers, soft drinks when you needed and a good pitch.

    But

we obviously need to look at all options in terms of price

So whatever you decide is good with me. God knows what i will be driving down in, but at worst an M3 which we can get some stuff in !

Cheers guys, keep me posted - your doing an awsome job boys (Dave)

    Q1 - depends who with :D
Q2 - prob not, hopefully a TestaRossa 512TR ... if not a different 348 or 308... failing all that, I'll nick Vicki's lurid lime Saab convertible!

here's what one of the guys over on P.heads said about Airtrack.

    ****************

Ive been 3 years with Airtrack - this is the best IMO.

Its a fully secure site - guard dogs, fenced in, cars checked for passes etc. Its located near the karting circuit.

They have an on site bar and shop, TV, electrical supplies etc.

They had approx 28 toilets/showers for the 700 people, so even in rush hour the queue is never longer than about 8 people, and they are cleaned 3-4 times a day.

The best bit is the clientele - the cars parked on this relatively small site (approx 700 people) are better than at some motor shows:

dozen or Ferraris, Porsches, RR, Bentleys, Lambos, Lotus, TVR, Morgan etc

We had 2 marquees in our group (we had 10 pitches) and we had home video projector set up with amp etc, a twin axle refrigerated trailer full of beer/food....we neve thought once about packing stuff away or worrying about getting stuff nicked - other people on the campsite had similar set-ups...and people with £100K+ cars generally are not interested stealing your bag!

highly recommended - I will be there next year with them again - of course they are not the cheapest and are usually sold out by Jan. Approx £550 per car inc tunnel crossing for a 30sqm pitch for Thursday-Sunday inclusive.

I am sure that as this year someone will drive down in my RS6. If i still have it and this is the case, for a small fee i will sell the seats in it during the football as it has a TV within lol.

any idea how I can get 35 people in a RS6 - maybe open the tailgate and put a grandstand behind?

Hi Shadako .... you have private messages relevant to this exact subject ... we are unable to offer a cash reward (for your services), but maybe a few beer tokens, and certainly a few laughs.
    cheers, d

Received written confirmation today from ACO, re our 15 spot reservation at Maison Blanche.
Airtrack seems to be the favourite at the moment, though.
    cheers from big ears.

Now this may sound a bit previous, but i am not sure if any one realises that its only 313 days, 18 hours 33 mins and 25 seconds until the start of Le Mans
